The Harsch Crock is absolutely wonderful--it is everything it says it is! I had never made sauerkraut before, and my very first time it came out wonderfully (I used a culture starter and followed the directions). I now have my second batch brewing, and it's so much fun to hear the intermittent gurgling sounds that it makes (it sounds like I have frogs in my living room--LOL!)
I would highly encourage anyone interested in their health to make these wonderful cultured vegetables using the Harsch Crock.
